Ska Chou Chou Claudio Cecchetto 1982
Dopo l'esordio come disc jockey alla discoteca Divina di Milano, nel 1975 approda alla prima radio privata milanese Radio Milano International e da li dopo qualche anno a Radio studio 105 primo network radiofonico italiano. Nel 1977 abbandona gli studi universitari dopo aver accettato la conduzione di un programma per l'emittente Telemilano (la futura Canale 5). Con la fine degli anni '70 fa la sua prima apparizione in RAI con Discoring, trasmissione ideata da Gianni Boncompagni. Ha condotto tanti programmi come il Festival di Sanremo (1980, 1981 e 1982), Scacco Matto, Fantastico 2 e Destinazione Sanremo
Nel 1981 Cecchetto lancia Gioca Jouer (Dormire,Salutare,Autostop,Starnuto,...), prodotto da Giancarlo Meo, un ballo di gruppo e con i proventi delle vendite del disco fonda Radio DeeJay. Seguono poi Ska Chou Chou (1982) e Foto stop (1983). Nel 1982 firma il contratto con le reti Fininvest (oggi Mediaset) e conduce programmi come Popcorn, Premiatissima, Festivalbar e Azzurro. Ha fondato network radiofonici come Radio DeeJay (di cui fu figlia la trasmissione degli anni 80 Dee Jay Television), Radio Capital e Radio Cecchetto, del Gruppo Elemedia.
Come talent-scout ha scoperto personaggi come Gerry Scotti, Jovanotti, Fiorello, Amadeus, Fabio Volo, il gruppo musicale degli 883, Sandy Marton, Sabrina Salerno, Taffy, Tracy Spencer), Dj Francesco ed i Finley.
